My name is Obilo Nwokogba.
My purpose in life is to follow Jesus Christ. My main goal on earth is to make myself pleasing to God so that at the end of my earthly life, I might indeed make it to Heaven (and have eternal life there). How can one be pleasing to God? By believing in the One He sent, Jesus Christ, who died on a cross for my sins and yours.
Jesus did this so that through Him you might live eternally, even after you physically die. Believe in Jesus Christ, and do what He asks us to do (which is in the Bible).
Our MOST IMPORTANT DUTIES:
"And He [Jesus Christ] answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind;
and thy neighbor as thyself." - Luke 10:27
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life."

"The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness,
but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish,
but that all should reach repentance."
- 2 Peter 3:9
The Bible IS God's Word to man. Read the Bible to be transformed by it, to know God's will for you. Don't listen to those who doubt and question God. Why not read the Bible FOR YOURSELF, and see. One compelling reason one SHOULD get close to God is simply because God WILL judge each of us at the end of our lives, and decide whether we spend eternity with Him in Heaven, or eternity in hell, with the devil, his demons, being tormented with fire, cruelty, and worms...along with those who did not accept Jesus Christ and repent of their sins.
You see, the world and the devil deceive us into thinking "I can decide to be serious about God later on. Let me achieve some things in life first.", the deceives people into thinking Christianity and following Jesus Christ, and the Bible is a choice, among other 'equal' choices of religions. THIS IS NOT TRUE.
Christianity as taught by the Bible is the way to serve and please the ONE, TRUE, LIVING GOD.Brothers and sisters, believe me that accepting and getting to know Jesus Christ is the MOST REWARDING thing a person can do in their LIFE.
Listen, God wants to reach out to everybody, and save everybody from damnation(for those who reject Jesus Christ), so try this: Say a **SINCERE** prayer to Jesus Christ, and ask Him to reveal Himself to you, so that you can know that He is Living, True, and hearing You. Ask Jesus to please show you that He is to be worshipped and prayed to.
